For The Love of Golf!
Golf Instruction For People Who Love Golf
Love your golf, not more lessons!
Why do you play golf? Is it to have the best score in your foursome? Is it to have a great time with your friends? Are you just wanting to escape the drudgery of your workdays and responsibilities?
It does not matter why, it is for you and your enjoyment, and as someone who has worked in another career, I completely understand that for most people, golf lessons are a means to an end.
Golf is late night range buckets and early Saturday mornings tee times. Golf has to fit in around the club basketball and the business trips. I get it. And I understand you may not have 42 hours a week to practice and play.
But I am also honest and will be frank that the more time and effort you put into improving your skill, the more enjoyable your game will be.
‘The more I practiced, the luckier I got!” - Gary Player
“Having golfed for decades and taken lessons from various instructors over the years, I can confidently say that none have been as effective as you in helping me understand and truly visualize each instruction. In just six months, my swing, confidence, and overall results have transformed, making the game more enjoyable than ever.
Thank you for your patience, expertise, and your talent for tailoring lessons to fit each student’s unique needs.
I know I still have more to work on, and I’m grateful to have you as my instructor.”

“I shot the best round today in 6 months. Finally broke 100, 94 gross. We were in the first flight, we won first net. It was so much fun to play again. I am on my way to better golf. ….coach I wanted you to hear about my progress”

“AWESOME! Do you realize within a year, we have taken 20+ strokes off my game? I was always the guy 115+, always last in the foursome and now I am shooting consistent 92-95 every round!
Words can’t say enough, but thank you!”

Will I have to completely rebuild my swing?
Many fear that when you get a lesson or series of lessons, you are going to have to completely rebuild your swing. There are horror stories about this at all levels from novice to tour professionals. And the honest truth is both yes and no.
No, I am not going to make you change everything just because I think it looks better or it matches some generic model or swing concept. I understand that you want to PLAY golf and not have ‘the perfect swing’.
But yes, you will need to correct flaws that are preventing you from achieving the three fundamentals. There can be no long-term improvement in consistency without changing these blockages to your improvement.
I like to be upfront. That is why when we have our initial Game Analysis, I will find out what your goals are and what you want to do and not do. I will then leave it to you to decide if you want to do those things or if you do not. After all, it is YOUR golf game!
What Do I Do For You?
Do you want a consistent, reliable swing? Do you want to KNOW what to do under pressure or in certain situations? Are you tired of going from tip to tip, seeing no long-term improvement? Have you taken one-off lessons in the past or spent one too many nights scrolling through YouTube that left you more confused than you were before you started?
In my 30 years in golf and learning how to teach people to play better, I have found that the only way to build lasting improved consistency is to build a system that you can fall back on when things go south. I want to help you build that system to develop long-term solutions to your game that allow you to stop searching for the next swing tip and get to enjoying the game more.
The key to long term growth and real improvement is to build a system around the three fundamentals in golf. What are they? Straight left arm? Nope. Keep your head down? God no. A low and slow takeaway? Maybe if that is your personality type.
No, the three fundamentals are:
1. Control the Low Point of your Swing
2. Control the Path and Clubface at Impact
3. Swing with enough Speed to be able to play the course
That’s it. The other discussions are on what the instructor feels the best way to get you to accomplish those three.
I love to help people find the fastest path to long term improvement in their game. Whether you are a novice looking to ‘not embarrass yourself’ at your company event or a seasoned player looking to take her game to the next level, I want to coach you.

PGA ProfessionalI have spent my entire life in and around the game of golf. Initially elected to PGA Membership in 1998, I have studied, tested and culled what matters and what is hype in the game. I now can say that through this personal journey with some of the greatest teachers and players, I have found that the only way to make lasting changes is through making a plan and following that plan, whether it is through a swing overhaul or executing that clutch shot in the club championship, you have to have a plan and execute it.
